One of these things is not like the other

Gandhi: went on several hunger strikes as nonviolent protests against British rule as well as religious and ethnic persecution

Mother Teresa: dedicated her life to serving the poor and downtrodden of the world

GW Bush: gives up golf because "playing golf during a war just sends the wrong signal"

That's some big sacrifice.

I'd rather he golfed and gave up war.

What else would one expect from a Frat boy that never grew up?

And your point is????

(oh he makes me so so so so so so sick.)

Gandhi and Mother Teresa both are dead. I think Bush should try that option as a show of solidarity with so many of the troops he sent off to die.

Meanwhile, I'm sure he must have sucked at golf and looked for any excuse to step away from it.
If he's looking for unique places to store his putter, I can think of a great spot.
I'll need his proctologist's help though.

Liberality--I know! I'm sure it's almost as hard as quitting drinking. Oh wait--he probably didn't quit. Perhaps he's secretly putting on a little Astroturf green in his private office--while downing a pitcher of margaritas.

Crow--COMMENT OF THE YEAR!

Rick--so true.

Fran--ditto.

Karen--if only!

CDP--he effing nailed it.

You mock but he may win the Nobel prize one day. In an alternate universe that is.

Dr Monkey--if only there were some alternate universe, to which we could send Herr Bush.

He doesn't know the meaning of true sacrifice.

There are still a million and ten other ways he is galavanting around the world, acting like a moron. He should give those up too.
