So NOW can we put them on trial?

Now that Bush and Cheney have admitted in several interviews that they lied and tortured, that they're not ashamed of having lied and tortured, and that if they had it to all over again they'd just lie and torture again--

NOW can we begin the impeachment proceedings?

NOW can we charge them with war crimes?

NOW can we have justice?

If not now, WHEN?

Why do I assume that they are admitting it out loud because they were already given teh "get out of jail free" card? Oh, and Rick Warren is giving the invocation at Obama's inauguration. Not fucking kidding.

Wake me up when it's 2012, 'kay?

Somebody is just trying to ensure that you maintain this blog name, I guess. I'm sure they mean well ...

They have admitted it and they should be tried.
As for Rick Warren, whatever, dude. The more we discuss him, the more fame we give him.
Give him his two minute prayerand let's move on. We have bigger fish to fry than this two-bit Bible huckster.

Dr. Monkey--let's keep shouting it!

Enc--me too. Why do I feel like it'll come true when that lottery-win wish does?

PiNY--oh no. It seems like just when you think it's gonna get better, you just get kicked in the head.

Barbara--that's it! It's ALL about the bloggy!

Zipdrive--it's just the blatancy of it that gets me!

Some Guy--Worried that PiNY's right.

I do believe that it's necessary now. Or we're all accountable.

Exactly. If we don't than what message does that send to future administrations?

Impartial Guest Pragmatist: "You are correct, Talking Hairpiece #1. By focusing on the past, the incoming administration cannot hope to solve the pressing problems that are hurting ALL Americans."

Talking Hairpiece #2: "So correct. Glad you could join us, Impartial Guest Pragmatist. After the break, you'll never guess what Britney Spears did today!"

I don't think the war criminals in this administration will ever be brought to justice. Still, I think a grass roots effort to pick one day of peaceful, organized protest against their war crimes, nationwide, is something that could be achieved. For Christ's sake, the Colbert Nation flash mobbed an entire country and got a bridge named after Colbert. It could be done.
