Political Birding Humor

Rob over at The Birdchaser did a great post on how birds would vote that's definitely worth a look. He's a fellow Keystone Stater from bird-rich Bucks County. Lucky him!

I commented that my spark bird (the bird that got me into birding), the American Bittern, would vote for Edwards -- like Edwards, who gets way too little face time on TV, the AMBI is very hard to see when hidden in the marshy grasses it prefers.

Imagine if kitties could vote. Clawsie would vote for herself. Kisses and Cookies, the sisters, would vote for Hillary--they're all about the female. And is there any doubt that the silky-furred Niblet would vote for the silky-haired John Edwards?

Our newest cat would definitely vote for Edwards since he was a stray we took in, that whole poverty angle. Um, not sure about our other two. Probably one for Hillary, the other for Obama.

Glad to see your house is solidly democrat, Randal! As is mine!

I don't have any pets, I just needed to comment so you could see my avatar again, since you admired it at Dcup's place.

If I had cats, they'd be for Edwards. I really don't think he's going to make it, which I really hoped I wouldn't have too say.

Consider me an Edwards DemoCAT.

My kitties would vote for whoever promises them lots of food.
Since they already get plenty of food from me, they'd probably go with Hillary because she's a woman like their Mama.
They are males but they are a little scared of men.

Tobiko would side with Hillary - she definitely knows how to get her claws out.

Dcap--"the only animals that are GOP are scorpions and leeches"--so true!

So many political animals, eh? GKL--Tobiko can sink his claws into those repubs anytime!
