Huckabee: "Don't Mormons Believe That Jesus And The Devil Are Brothers?"

It was only a matter of time before Mike Huckabee said something about
Mormonism that they would find offensive — and it's now happened. In an interview with the New York Times Magazine, to be published this Sunday, Huck admitted that he didn't know much about Mormon theology, but did say this: "Don't Mormons believe that Jesus and the devil are brothers?". . .
Huckabee also demurred when asked whether Mormons are a cult: "I'm just not
going to go off into evaluating other people's doctrines and faiths. I think
that is absolutely not a role for a president."
What the hell would YOU know about what is and isn't "a role for a president," you christofascist moron? You apparently think it's your "role" to
a. "not necessarily buy into" evolution and natural selection, though it's proven fact
b. claim you've had cellphone conversations with God
c. advocate that all gays and lesbians be quarantined before we spread AIDS to all you straights out there, not to mention that if we're allowed to marry, civilization will crumble
d. think wives should "graciously submit" to husbands
e. compare your diet-induced weight loss to the starvation-induced weight loss of Jews in concentration camps

I know I'm a broken record, but the cure for a manifestly broken system is a new party. A serious new party will either succeed, or it will at least force at least one of the other two parties to ventrure out of Beltway La La Land.
Personally, I think a Populist Progressive Party would blow the other two off the table...
Fillip, it needs to be said over and over: the time is NOW; we need a new party to speak to the needs and the issues of the sane people in this country. None of these candidates will do anything to change the course we're on; those in the lead are bought-and-paid-for members of the Corporate Party, and the legitimate voices of change are being stifled more every day. The media blanked Kucinich out of today's debate because he didn't have office space in the state? WTF is that? They silence a legitimate candidate; imagine what they'd do to a new party without the corporate money to buy clout?
Of course, therein lies the very problem a new party would hope to solve....
