So let me get this straight...

One minute, Gov. Jeff Blagojevich is standing with the Republic Door and Window employees, looking like a champion of the labor movement and fighter of big-bailout-bank Bank of America.

Next minute, he's getting busted by Patrick Fitzgerald for pretty much any crazy political corruption charge you can think of.

Boy, the foot's on the other hand now, eh?

I'd trade a Blagojevich impeachment for one of a certain other dude in a Chicago minute.

Surely I can't be serious.

I am serious, and don't call me Shirley.

When I saw the post title I kind of thought that this was going to be about Larry Craig... sorry - humor is wrong but fits.

Good f*cking riddance! This is, with the possible exception of southern Louisiana, the most corrupt place in the country. It's a friggin miracle that Obama wasn't totally compromised before he even started his presidential run, and the mere fact that he was from the Illinois legislature was the reason I didn't originally support Obama in the primaries.

Blago is, on top of being just mind-bendingly venal and corrupt, evidently as stupid as a bag of hammers as well.
