Cinema Gold week 2

This week's contestant is actually an actor, someone who understands the craft and knows it's more than reading some lines, looking good, and hitting one's mark.
Even though he always looks pretty damned good.

What is Robert Redford's best movie performance to date?

Jerimiah Johnson.

Dr. Monkey stole mine.

Another purely sentimental favorite of mine is Roy Hobbs in The Natural.

"Brubaker" was pretty good, too.

You should also check out the old Twilight Zone. He was in at least one as a young man.

The Sting.

Kind of partial to Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid myself, but maybe that was the whole Paul Newman thing.

Dr. Monkey--I saw that movie when I was a kid, and I LOVED it.

Some Guy--that's another dg favorite. I especially love the Randy Newman soundtrack.

Crow--that's one I've never seen all the way through. But I did see that Twilight Zone episode!

Zip--excellent!

Barbara--that's a solid choice, especially with Newman added.

I enjoyed "Downhill Racer" but "Jerimiah Johnson" was probably his best acting role.
