What I do when I'm not thinking about Gitmo

This is an email from my pal Niki -- it's repeated pastings of a dust mite, magnified like 3 millions times. We send this image to one another when we want to laugh and creep each other out.
On the blue bar at the bottom, if you could read it, you'd see I was listening to Jennifer Holliday singing "And I Am Telling You (I'm Not Going)" from Dreamgirls, and checking out the latest band on Splotchy's "Who's in Charge Here?" blog.
And counting down the minutes until 5 o'clock, mate. Always that.
P.S.--This cleansing post brought to you by Niki.

I'm honored to have a l'il spot on your desktop! Just keep those dust mites away from me. It makes me feel like they're crawlin' all over me.

Splotch--no worries!

Mountjoy--me too, pal. Once again, every day the same.

Dusty--Niki can be so eee-vil when she wants to be!

So you use Lotus Notes, too? The "leaves" background is unmistakable. Hope you were wearing earphones when you were listening to Jennifer Holliday. Don't want the bosses to know you're having too much fun.

Hideous. Now I want to go home and dust.

Nice, it looks like a four-legged ostrich with its head in the sand. I thought you were posting the latest addition to your life list.

Suddenly I feel like vacuuming my mattress. Or perhaps burning it.

Spartacus--of COURSE I have the little earbuds, man. I gotta pretend to be working and keep it down in my cubey environment.

CDP--makes me want to burn my house down and salt the earth sometimes.

Crow--good one! It would be a lifer, I guess!

Karen--that's another thing I don't miss about TX--we have very few fleas and ticks up here, man. When I lived in Austin, we had to MOVE because our house got infested with fleas and no amount of poison killed them.

Barbara--me too!

I weas kidding about the fleas- I use Revolution on the kitties twice a year and that seems to take care of it.
