The planets and stars finally aligned and I was able to get a picture of this:
I know it's kinda blurry, and the color is terrible, but gimme a break--I was in a bathroom stall trying not to cause a panic by whipping out my camera phone.

So a lot of the buildings at Penn State have this brand of latch on their bathroom stall doors: HINY-HIDERS. GKL probably remembers these from her time in State College.

Good to know they're taking care of my hiney and hiding it from the rest of the world.

If only Larry Craig had been so lucky.

That's a bathroom stall lock? Wow, that is a serious business bathroom stall lock. All hineys are safe.

You are on my side of the spelling debate re HINEY (correct) vs. HEINIE (totally incorrect). Thank you.

The way some people spell heinie is heinous.

I'm not sayin' but I'm just sayin'.

You and CDP, have a Necco-y good day while hiding your HEINIES!

(I love that you got your cellphone cam out in the bloody loo. Fantastic!)

I hope you washed its lens after using the loo.

Barbara: Yeah, it's all steel and everything! It'll hide your hiney for sure!

CDP: "Heinie" indeed. It's an outrage! Glad we agree on this important matter!

Fran--you're killin' me, man.

Zip--and I didn't turn off the faucet until I'd gotten some paper towels to do it with; I also opened the door with the paper towels. Germs must not invade me!

The spelling of "heinie" has been a subject of some debate over at my place, too.

I wish all stalls had these doorlocks.

I don't remember them from wayyyyy back when I was there. Damn, I really needed some hiney holders then. Grabbing a Heiney was popular tho'.
