Not all of us. too many, yes, but in some places education--in all its forms--is still celebrated and respected.
Unlike universal health care, the constitution provides for our right to be stupid. We'd be stupid to not take advantage.
An interesting question. Is it perhaps because you are a nation founded by people who left Europe for religious purposes, founded a new land, and have valued God over education ever since?
